I'm very pleased with this firepit cover. It seems to be constructed very well and is fairly thick and heavy. Hopefully it will hold up outdoors for a long time. I have a 55" hexagonal-shaped firepit and this cover fits it perfectly. I would definitely recommend it.

Not sure about the stripes but the fit is perfect. Not only does it properly cover the structure of our built in pit but the domed cover as well. Had another brand prior that did not hold up at all and cost twice the amount. Since we bought this we had a few bad storms and it stayed in place and had no damage. We were going to get the green firepit cover, but we noticed the banana leave pattern cost less for the same cover. We looked at the enlarged picture and it is actually quite pretty. We have a portable firepit that we insert into a stackable stone base (so if we need to we can move it). It covers over the rock work and firepit beautiful. It is made from a very durable material. I think it will last for a very long time even sliding it over our stone siding. We mainly bought it to keep the water out of our firepit to keep it from rusting out. Looks very nice. Would highly recommend.
